Our shop sells a wide range of handmade, naturally-inspired gifts alongside our own soap and bath range. We endevour to be as sustainable as possible, are mostly plastic-free, and our products are either made by ourselves, local artists, within the UK or are Fairtrade. Loved by locals and visitors - we are the number one destination in town for shoppers looking for something unique and beautiful.
We are located on the corner of Northampton Street and Magdalene Street, opposite the Museum of Cambridge (see map below) a few hundred yards from one of the towns most popular punting spots at Bridge Street. Magdalene Street is one of the earliest shopping streets in Cambridge - full of independent shops and takes you on a loop from town to 'the backs' and the famous view of Kings College.

Soap and Clay: always naturally handmade
We are a husband and wife team: Jason and Vicky. Following careers in teaching and museums - the opportunity to run a shop in one of our favourite cities and sell our unique brand and creative flair has been a dream come true. When we sold our soap at craft fairs we found ourselves explaining to people that they really needed to use a soap dish. Of course lovely sustainable ceramic dishes made perfect sense. ​I (Vicky) started making soap around 6 years ago - its an exciting process - because you have to wait for it to cure and then only when it is removed from the mould, cut and dry do you really get to see how it has turned out - a bit like firing clay! There are so many ways to add colour and pattern and scent. Our soaps are made with clays, natural plant dyes, botanical infusions and essential plant oils - which provide amazing skin benefits. We are 'always naturally handmade'. Natural products have changeable colours and when you make things by hand they are not exact. So everything we make is truely artisan and bespoke. We are passionate about the environment and believe that our skincare products should be kind to nature as well as us....Lets start a slow cosmetic movement together xx​
